Ever-present demons have been shocked into submission by the power at work in the artist's life. They have been rendered powerless. In the near foreground a strange machine directs the eye to what lies beyond the dark clouds separating this life and the next. The Kingdom has come. Light from the "heavenly Jerusalem" bathes the foreground figures. The tired little monster raging against the church in the previous painting has become a saint peacefully going about his business. .

This painting  is the third in a series chronicling Benjamin's conversion to Christ. The first is titled Endless Sunset, and the second is Chips.
